Do you work with trauma?

Accepted Answer

Yes – relational and developmental trauma are a key focus. Trauma isn't just a single event; often it's the ongoing patterns, relational wounds, or early life experiences that shaped how you relate to yourself and others. I bring a trauma-informed lens, meaning safety, regulation, and relational connection are foundational.

How long will therapy take?

There is no set "end date" – your pace is unique. Some clients find meaningful shifts within a few months; others prefer longer-term work. We'll talk at the start about your goals and revisit them regularly.

What is your fee/insurance policy?

Accepted Answer

Private pay rates are $200/hr. for the first session and $175/hr. for subsequent sessions. I take the following insurances through my practice: Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care (Optum, UMR), Aetna, Cigna (Evernorth Behavioral Health), Curalinc Healthcare, and Healthlink. As a contracted provider with Headway, I also accept: BCBS of Illinois, Aetna, Cigna (Evernorth), Ascension (SmartHealth), Anthem EAP, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Providence Health Plan.

How do I get started?

Call or email to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. We'll briefly talk about your current situation, what you hope for, and whether we seem like a good fit. Then we'll schedule your first session and you'll receive intake paperwork ahead of time.

Question 5

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

I ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations whenever possible. Cancellations less than 24 hours will be subject to a fee, except in emergency situations..
