Professional Therapy Credentials and Experience

Michele Tennyson, LCPC Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

I work with adults who are navigating uncertainty, life transitions, relationship challenges, or a desire for greater self-understanding.  Many people I see feel disconnected from themselves, unsure of their direction, or ready to move beyond patterns that no longer feel helpful.

My approach is relational, compassionate, and grounded with a touch of humor when appropriate.  I believe meaningful change happens through understanding, genuine connection, and learning to trust yourself over time.  Therapy is not about becoming someone different; it’s about making sense of your experiences and developing a more accepting and confident relationship with who you already are.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most to you.  If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for growth, I would be honored to walk alongside you with curiosity, respect, and support.

Outside the therapy room, I believe humor, music, and meaningful stories – whether in film, books, or life – can offer insight, perspective, and relief.  These elements often inform the way I show up in therapy:  present, curious, and human.
